Timberwolves part ways with Roy

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Brandon Roy's career might be over for real this time, after the Timberwolves released the veteran guard Friday. Roy was limited to just five games in his comeback attempt, as continued knee issues dogged him all season long. Roy retired before the 2011-12 season due to his knee injuries, and it is not clear whether he will try to catch on with another team this offseason. The 28-year-old Roy averaged 5.8 points and 4.6 assists in his five games with the Wolves.
