Mavericks - Delonte West-G

Rotoinfo — In Delonte West's first game with the Texas Legends of the D-League, he contributed 10 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. However, the 29-year-old was definitely rusty after sitting out for the whole season. He shot just 4-15 from the field (1-2 from three-point range) and turned the ball over 6 times. The Legends lost the game, 103-85. Several NBA teams are monitoring West, who was waived by the Dallas Mavericks during the preseason.

Source: West on Knicks' radar

Knicks Blog | ESPN New York — New York Knicks scouts will attend Delonte West's D-League game on Saturday night to take a first-hand look at the talented-but-troubled guard, a source told Marc Stein of ESPN.com. Scouting West and signing him are two very different commitments, but the Knicks have several holes to plug on the roster, so it makes sense that they'd take a look at West. The Dallas Mavericks waived West earlier this season following two suspensions for conduct detrimental to the team.

Celtics - Delonte West-PG

Rotoinfo — With the Celtics’ recent rash of injuries, general manager Danny Ainge told WEEI.com that he is considering adding veteran guard Delonte West to the mix. West was cut by the Mavericks prior to the season, and has yet to play, even refusing a D-League contract to work his way back. Celtics Blog | Providence Journal — By Mike McDermottHead coach Doc Rivers, speaking on WEEI's Dennis and Callahan program, said Friday morning that the Celtics "need players," especially a big man and a guard who can handle the ball. Delonte West not an option, Shelvin Mack a possibility

CelticsBlog — In Boston's search for stopgap at point guard, Shelvin Mack's a possibility, among others, sources say. Delonte West isn't a consideration. — Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) February 12, 2013 This doesn't exactly qualify as a Woj Twitter bomb, but it kills me that Ainge isn't consider DWest. Delonte was my candidate to replace Rondo and Barbosa in the back court, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. Mack is fine as a "stopgap" on a ten-day, but he's just that: a stopgap. With these two roster spots (maybe three if Barbosa gets waived), I'd like to see the Celtics e...
