Bulls Dropped By Hornets In All Too Familar Game

The Bulls lose at home to a subpar opponent, again. But that feels moot, knowing what we know about Derrick Rose. By now, you've probably become accustomed to the remnants of a Chicago Bulls game without Rose: grinding, slow-paced, and hard to watch. The city of Chicago has gone through a rough past 24 hours, and the display the Bulls put forth against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night didn't make things any better, losing 98-86. The game itself may seem almost trivial to some. In many ways, that's probably true. Dealing with the loss of Rose is more important than any singular game,...

Charlotte Hornets at Chicago Bulls: Full Coverage

The Hornets travel to Chicago to take on a Bulls team now missing Derrick Rose. When: 8:00 PM Where: United Center TV: Fox Sports South, Comcast Sports Network Chicago The Charlotte Hornets are on the road tonight, and they play the Chicago Bulls. Neither team has really lived up to the pre-season expectations they had set for themselves, and tonight will be an interesting matchup in that sense. There's also the injuries to both teams, and their similar play styles that must be taken in to account as well. Lets start off with the elephant (Bulls?) in the room. Derrick Rose is injured yet...

Derrick Rose injury update: Bulls still weighing surgery options

Thibs talked, although there wasn't much of an update, really. Tom Thibodeau talked after Bulls shootaround on Wednesday morning, but there was little actual news in terms of an update on Derrick Rose's latest injury. Nobody has any idea when the injury occurred, and surgery options are still being weighed: Thibs doesn't know when surgery will be scheduled. They're still weighing options--removal vs. repair. — Sean Highkin (@highkin) February 25, 2015 In this case, Rose might go into the surgery with a preference of what he wants done, but there could not be an option once the...

CHICAGO (AP) — Derrick Rose's knee has failed him again.

NBA results and news, Feb. 24: James sets mark; Rose hurt again

Bulls' future, like Rose's, now uncertain

CHICAGO -- The nightmare has returned for Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls. The news of Rose's meniscus tear hit hard within the organization late Tuesday night for a multitude reasons. But the overall feeling from many team personnel was disbelief and sadness. In the short-term, Rose's status for the rest of the season remains uncertain. Bulls general manager Gar Forman and executive vice president John Paxson are likely going to have to add another point guard to play alongside Kirk Hinrich and Aaron Brooks.

No timetable, and even more questions about Derrick Rose's surgery

Like a lot of you, not even sure what to say. All season, though we've seen Rose go through his peaks in valleys in terms of his performance, we could say to ourselves 'hey, at least he's still healthy'. It was a state that we could all be at least somewhat pleased with given the past couple of seasons. But that's over, again. I know a lot of you want to look at who to blame, and what to do next...and...well...I'm right there with you! Let's find blame. Let's see when he's coming back. Let's just get some information. Right now, there isn't much. KC Johnson reported late Tuesday that there...
