Paul George and C.J. Miles take flight as Pacers outlast Wizards, 123-106

In Paul George's first game back at the Verizon Center since the 2013-14 season, he and CJ Miles proved to be too much for the WIzards in a 123-106 victory. With 4:23 left in the fourth quarter, the Wizards defended the Pacers pretty well and Mahinmi missed an easy shot. But the rebound was tipped out, a white jersey missed the ball and it went immediatly to George Hill. He drained a three to put the Pacers up 113-98. That summed up the Wizards night where they looked completely outmatched and outclassed on both ends against the Indiana Pacers. The Wizards held seven of the nine players the...

Pacers injury update: George Hill, Rodney Stuckey questionable but closer to return against Bucks

The Pacers may get a boost when they face the Bucks if George Hill and Rodney Stuckey are fit to return. George Hill (upper respiratory infection) and Rodney Stuckey (ankle) both practiced with the Pacers on Friday but remained questionable to play against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday. But as you can see, both players were in the mix at practice and the fact they went through the workout is good news. Inside today's practice: pic.twitter.com/9AMolM2tv4 — Indiana Pacers (@Pacers) November 20, 2015 Stuckey and Hill both took part in the Pacers "Come to Our House" dinner on Friday...

The state of George Hill's star

In 2014, he was passive. In 2015, he was assertive. What is he now? George Hill's transformation from a deferential role player to an opportunistic scorer was one of only a few meaningful story lines to carry over from an otherwise lost 2014-15 season. In the absence of Indiana's franchise star and a ball dominant shooting guard, Hill thrived. Buoying a team that, prior to his own return, had been left to sink beneath the weight of its own never-ending deluge of injuries. But now, Hill's reality has changed yet again. Paul George is back. Perhaps, even better than back. And Indiana's point...

Pacers 90, Heat 87: Too Much George

Paul George dumped 36 points and grabbed 12 boards against the Heat, and George Hill pitched in a dozen points in Indiana's three-point win over Miami. The Pacers inched ahead in the third and did just enough to keep the Heat at bay though the fourth quarter, earning a 90-87 win over Miami on Friday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Miami fell behind 15-8 to open the game, then took a 10-point lead on the strength of an 18-1 run to close the period with a 26-16 edge. Hassan Whiteside had four points, four rebounds, and four blocks through the frame, as the Heat shot 55% on...

More second half struggles down Pacers in blowout loss to Jazz

Indiana was outscored 55-27 in the second half of their 97-76 loss to Utah. George Hill had 17 to lead the Pacers. After an impressive first half where the Indiana Pacers controlled the game against the Utah Jazz, getting a boost from Myles Turner en route to a 49-42 halftime lead, things went south for the Pacers as soon as the teams exited the locker room for the second half. The Jazz scored the first 14 of the half, using a 16-2 run to built a 56-51 advantage that was all Utah needed to run away from Indiana. The Pacers missed their first eight shots of the second half, with Monta Ellis...

Pacers final score: Jazz roll over Pacers 97-76

Indiana struggled in the second half, getting blown out by Utah in the process to start 0-3. George Hill had 17. The Indiana Pacers gave away a 9-point halftime lead in a pitiful half of basketball as the Utah Jazz rolled through Indiana, sending the Pacers to 0-3. Indiana scored just 27 second half points, getting beaten up on both ends of the floor failing to rebound and failing to hold onto the ball. Utah outscored Indiana 55-27 in the second half to secure the victory. George Hill had 17 to lead the Pacers, but also had seven of Indiana's 24 turnovers. Hill also led Indiana with six...
