Kings 93, Mavericks 88: Scrappy offense snags win number one

A veteran-led closing lineup held on to the late-game lead. The Kings had plenty of chances to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in Dallas on Friday night, but the veteran-led closing lineup didn’t blink against a fourth quarter Mavericks run and the Kings prevailed 93-88. Kings win! Despite being down 12 points early, the Kings managed to come back and beat the Mavericks 93-88 for their first win of the season. George Hill hit some huge shots down the stretch for a team-high 21 points on 9-12 shooting and rookie De’Aaron Fox had 9 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds and a steal in just 26 minutes.
