  • Evaluating Glen Davis
It took him six seasons, two teams, and three coaches, but in 2012/13, Glen Davis finally found a situation in which he could become a go-to offensive player. The LSU product opened the Orlando Magic's season as the team's co-captain, sharing those duties with Jameer Nelson, and celebrated his new on- and off-court responsibilities by jacking shots with a level of recklessness not often seen in bigs. • Evaluating Jameer Nelson
Jameer Nelson was the most important holdover from the previous regime as the Orlando Magic overhauled their roster over the summer. He'd also be expected to produce, especially scoring, given the team's overall lack of talent. He didn't exactly deliver on all counts. Magic coach Jacque Vaughn described Nelson as "day-to-day for us" following Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. "I don't have a timetable," he said of Nelson's possible return to the lineup. Beno Udrih, acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks on February 21st, has started at p...
