Lakers and Pacers at ‘standstill,’ but ‘highly likely’ Paul George trade happens before 2017 NBA Draft

Lakers and Pacers at ‘standstill,’ but ‘highly likely’ Paul George trade happens before 2017 NBA Draft

We do now have a better idea of what deal is on the table, however. The Los Angeles Lakers’ and Indiana Pacers’ marathon of negotiating a Paul George trade through the media continued unabated Tuesday, although apparently leaks being a good idea are the only thing the two organizations can currently agree on. According to Mark Medina of the Southern California News Group, the teams are “currently at standstill” in talks centered on Julius Randle or Jordan Clarkson and the 27th and 28th picks. That’s identical to the offer that Marc Stein of ESPN reported the Lakers would put on...

Jordan Clarkson Wants To Remain With Lakers In Spite Of NBA Trade Rumors

Jordan Clarkson Wants To Remain With Lakers In Spite Of NBA Trade Rumors

Jordan Clarkson has made it be known — he wants to stay with the Los Angeles Lakers. The fourth-year combo guard wants a chance to show the Lakers that he can work well with D’Angelo Russell and whomever gets taken with the No. 2 overall draft pick. That pick will likely be either Lonzo Ball or De’Aaron Fox. Both Ball and Fox play point guard, thus leaving Clarkson in a reserve role if he is kept. The issue that Jordan Clarkson would have if the Lakers choose to take a guard is second-year wing Brandon Ingram.Click here to continue and read more...

Lakers News: Jordan Clarkson wants to win Sixth Man of the Year if he comes off the bench

Lakers News: Jordan Clarkson wants to win Sixth Man of the Year if he comes off the bench

He still hopes to start, however. Jordan Clarkson has flown under the radar for the most part this summer, but he’s sneakily one of the Los Angeles Lakers’ biggest wild cards of the offseason. As the team’s third-highest paid player (making $12.5 million next year) and their only semi-desirable large contract, Clarkson would likely have to serve as salary ballast in any type of large trade the Lakers want to make. The Lakers also still appear more likely than not to select Lonzo Ball with the No. 2 pick and shift D’Angelo Russell to shooting guard, which would leave Clarkson back in...

Lakers News: Jordan Clarkson says he's resorted to amputation to improve his left hand

Lakers News: Jordan Clarkson says he's resorted to amputation to improve his left hand

It sounds like he may not have been being literal, thankfully. The Los Angeles Lakers sent their young core into the summer with an edict to improve their game during the off-season. For Julius Randle, this involved using intense workouts to build muscle and cut fat. For his fellow 2014 NBA Draft pick Jordan Clarkson, it may have involved cutting something else. It's common knowledge that Clarkson has had a tendency to be right-hand dominant during his short career so far, a not uncommon issue for players because it's far more comfortable to use the hand they are used to than their...

NBA Trade Rumors: Lakers’ Jordan Clarkson To The Utah Jazz For Derrick Favors?

The Lakers are under new management and it seems like they have put Clarkson on the trading block. One of the potential destinations for the 25-year-old guard is the Utah Jazz. According to Moke Hamilton of Basketball Insiders, the Lakers are open to trading Jordan Clarkson this summer and they might put him on the block very soon. It is despite Clarkson signing a long-term...

VIDEO: Jordan Clarkson has used the Lakers’ offseason to master fidget spinners

JC is in on the hottest summer craze. To be perfectly clear, I do not understand fidget spinners. I know they’re really popular right now, but I guess as a nearly 26-year-old blogger I’m basically washed at this point. You know who does understand fidget spinners? Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson. In fact, Clarkson has become a master of the summer’s hottest craze. They say players should use the offseason to improve, and Clarkson has certainly done that, showcasing the ability to keep them spinning on his knee, foot and head (either that or he had a propeller installed on...
