Warriors promote Aaron Miles to player development coach

According to a report from Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle, Miles has been promoted from head coach of the G League’s Santa Cruz Warriors to a player development coach for Golden State. Miles, 36, had coached Golden State’s G League affiliate for the last two seasons. New Golden State guard Jordan Poole adopted a pair of rescued cats--brothers named Kai and Kota--from San Francisco Animal Care & Control. The brothers are Maine coons, a gentle but large breed that can grow to weigh up to 18 pounds. The adoption will not only give the cats a new lease on life, but will also fill a feline void in Poole's new life in the Bay.
