San Antonio Spurs center Pau Gasol underwent surgery on Friday to repair a broken ring finger on his left hand and will miss the next few weeks of the NBA season, according to multiple reports. Yahoo Sports and ESPN, each citing unnamed sources in website reports, said the 36-year-old Spaniard had the operation so he would be able to return as quickly as possible.
