Wallace played in 21 games this season with the Knicks but had missed most of the season with a stress fracture in his right foot. Knicks Blog | ESPN New York — With Rasheed Wallace retiring from the NBA for the second time, the Knicks have signed center Earl Barron to replace him. The Knicks' roster now stands at a max of 15 players. Barron returns to New York after playing here in the 2009-10 season, when he put up 11.7 points and 11 rebounds over seven games. It was by far the best outing of his six-season career, during which he has averaged 4.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. Barron will be playoff-eligible, since he was waived by the Wizards on Dec.
