Amid rumors, it's Danny season

Amid rumors, it's Danny season

So what is it about that sound that changes how I feel about the world. The simple sounds of life, a wind chime in the background, and a tree's leaves falling to the ground as the ground becomes cold. The seasons change as quickly as Danny Ainge changes his mind. The recent wave of rumors have me confused. If the Ty Lawson, Cousins rumors are true. Why did Danny trade Rondo? Ty Lawson is no upgrade by any means. Lawson is set to earn $12.4 million in 2015-2016 and $13.2 million in 2016-2017. That's Rondo type money, and Lawson is not on the level, despite Rondo's recent struggles. The Cousins...

Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post clarifies rumors that the Nuggets are looking to trade Ty Lawson that cropped up yesterday It was a bit of strange theater yesterday, as a Monday morning column on Grantland by Zach Lowe sparked some furor by indicating the possibility that Ty Lawson could be a trade piece from the Nuggets. You can read the column right here. Needless to say this sparked much conversation on Monday and lead to some interesting ESPN trade machine (aka: the tool of the devil) scenarios being pulled from all corners of the earth. Rumor: Boston and Denver have discussed Ty Lawson trade

Per Grantland's Zach Lowe, the Celtics and Nuggets have discussed a deal to put Ty Lawson in green. In his Trade Deadline Primer, Grantland's Zach Lowe highlights the Denver Nuggets as potential big sellers over the next couple of days, with Wilson Chandler, Arron Afflalo, Kenneth Faried, and most notably to the Celtics, Ty Lawson: The sense around the league is that you could land Lawson or Faried with a Godfather offer. They are gettable. Boston and Denver have had exploratory talks about Lawson, per several sources. Lowe goes on to say about the Celtics' chances of landing the 5'11...

Recap: Hornets dismantle Nuggets at Pepsi Center

The clouds rolled into Denver yesterday, and the grey skies never left the Pepsi Center as the Nuggets got blown out, again, at home. This time it was the Charlotte Hornets, who average 94.8 points per game, who took it to the Nuggets and earned a 104-86 win. Ty Lawson summed it up best after the game: "You can't put your finger on one thing," Lawson said. "There's so many things that need to be corrected. It's tough. It's tough right now. We're consistently inconsistent. I feel sorry for the fans. We shouldn't play like that in front of them." Why are the Nuggets playing this way? What in...
