Despite the NBA’s best efforts this year to nerf load management, teams are still punting games from time to time. Tonight, the Brooklyn Nets were back deep for the return. Like a prime Tavon Austin (queue up Hell & Back by Kid Ink), they took it to the house and beat the Miami Heat by a 112-97 final score. With Miami keeping Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, and Duncan Robinson in street clothes tonight, you don’t want...

The visitors then decided to rest Duncan Robinson, Bam Adebayo, and Jimmy Butler on the back-to-back. Brooklyn was in no position to decline Miami’s...

The absence of Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, and Caleb Martin heightened fan expectations for a win.
