Evans done for the season

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Kings coach Keith Smart told the Sacramento Bee that forward Tyreke Evans (quad) will not play in Wednesday's season finale against the Clippers. Evans sustained a left quadriceps strain when he slipped on a wet spot during the first quarter of Sacramento's loss to the Thunder on Monday night. "No need for him to go out there and limp around or do anything else to that," Smart said. "We've got a long flight, and once you get on a plane, you never know how much swelling will occur."

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Sacramento guard Tyreke Evans (illness) underwent tests on his stomach after vomiting at halftime of Sunday's game against Philadelphia. The Kings felt Evans may have been dealing with something more serious than the flu but the tests came back normal, reports the Sacramento Bee. Evans returned to action Wednesday against the Warriors and played 33 minutes. The guard scored just 12 points as he was not in rhythm. Evans hit just four of his 12 shots, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range. He dished out five assists and added three rebounds and a steal.

Evans dealing with the flu

Evans did not play the final eight minutes of the game and was vomiting at halftime due to being under the weather. He assumes he has a case of the flu but is considered day to day.
