Denver Stiffs On the Colorado Sports Guys podcast we pride ourselves on being on the cutting edge. We set trends while others follow cookie cutter sports blogs that only talk about what's hot. We are ahead of the game in almost every way shape and form. Be it with talking with Wilson Chandler or Denver sports legend Sandy Clough, CSG has all the bases covered. That being said, this week we talk Tebow because that is the subject that is hot and trendy. We may be trend setters but we aren't stupid. We also talk about the dismissal of George Karl and the Nuggets coaching search. Additionally we manage ...

Denver Stiffs The Toronto Raptors have pillaged a few assets from the Denver Nuggets over the years; from Linas Kleiza to Gary Forbes and they were rumored to be interested in Wilson Chandler when the forward was returning to the NBA from his stint in China during the lockout. Now, the Raptors are after their former employee: Masai Ujiri, reports Adrian Wojnarowski. Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment is pursuing Denver Nuggets general manager Masai Ujiri to take over as the top basketball executive of the Toronto Raptors, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. Masai, the 2013 NBA Executive of the Year...

Denver Stiffs The Denver Nuggets finished the regular season with a 57-25 record, good for fourth best in the NBA and third best in the brutal Western Conference. Denver's 38-3 home record put them in the top-10 in NBA history - tied with the 2004-05 Spurs (won the title), the 1996-97 Jazz, the 1995-96 Super Sonics (coached by George Karl), and the 1970-71 Bucks (won the title). Only six teams have finished with better home records (the 1985-86 Celtics went 40-1). Pretty elite company. "First of all, I'd like to say thanks to the fans," said Karl. "We stole some games here on the home-court because ...

Arizona Republic DENVER (AP) -- The Denver Nuggets secured the third seed in the Western Conference playoffs by routing the Phoenix Suns 118-98 on Wednesday night behind 21 points from Wilson Chandler and 20 from Andre Iguodala. Their opponent in the first round wasn't determined until the late games on the West Coast wrapped up. All they knew for sure after the buzzer was that they'll start the playoffs at home -- where they've won a franchise-best 23 straight games to finish with the league's best home mark -- 38-3 -- eclipsing the old record of 36-5 set in 1976-77, their first year in the NBA.

Denver Post You don't hear many golf-NBA comparisons. (Except for, I suppose, Tiger Woods once chasing Wilt Chamberlain with the intensity he chases Jack Nicklaus.)

Pounding The Rock J. Gomez (Edg5): After a terribly boring first half in which two top ten offensive rating teams combined for 75 points, the Nuggets managed to set the pace in the second half and got out and run on the shorthanded Spurs. Wilson Chandler (29 points) and Corey Brewer (28 points) went off for the Nuggets while Tim Duncan (17 points) did what he could to keep the Spurs in it. The Spurs and the Thunder are now tied on the standings but the Thunder hold the tie breaker. Cameron Archer will have the recap up soon. # Commenter # Comments 1 CapHill 130 2 SpursCupcake 102 3 JohnWilSal...

Denver Stiffs Very appreciative that I was able to sit down with Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler to talk about his background growing up in Benton Harbor, Michigan, his time traveling around the globe, some must have foods, movie talk and what roles Chandler could see himself playing, and much more. Chandler is also a hip-hop music aficionado and was put to the test trying to match lyrics with artists - the biggest problem ... it was Nate tossing out the lyrics. We hope you enjoy the podcast and that it brings a little something different than the basketball talk we usually have. Ross, Jeff...
