Chicago Bulls: LaVine’s late-game surge drowned out by Jazz

Among a handful of solid but inefficient performances by the Bulls on Saturday night, Zach LaVine once again proved himself to be a 20 million-dollar man with a tireless fourth-quarter effort. Considering that the Chicago Bulls had acted as the Warriors’ punching bag the night prior, it was refreshing to see the young squad stay […] Chicago Bulls: LaVine’s late-game surge drowned out by Jazz - Pippen Aint Easy - Pippen Aint Easy - A Chicago Bulls Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and More

Chicago Bulls get decimated again by the Golden State Warriors

The Chicago Bulls lost to the Golden State Warriors 146-109 in an absolute bloodbath on Friday night to kick off road trip. The Chicago Bulls got steamrolled in a game that featured a rare Robin Lopez three, but still somehow wasn’t fun. Only Zach LaVine and Bobby Portis cracked the double-digit scoring mark before the […] Chicago Bulls get decimated again by the Golden State Warriors - Pippen Aint Easy - Pippen Aint Easy - A Chicago Bulls Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and More

Bulls guard Zach LaVine vows to shoot more 3-pointers moving forward

Now that Justin Holiday is gone from the Chicago Bulls, shooting guard Zach LaVine understands he has to shoot more 3-pointers because the team has a lack of players on the team who can consistently shoot well from deep. Before getting traded to the Memphis Grizzlies, Holiday made 97 shots from beyond the arc for […] The post Bulls guard Zach LaVine vows to shoot more 3-pointers moving forward appeared first on ClutchPoints.

Zach LaVine thinks Chicago needs to show more toughness

Zach LaVine and the Chicago Bulls are enduring a brutal season. The young squad is 10-30 and they’ve had a hard time stringing wins together. LaVine believes that the Bulls need to take a more physical approach to the game. “I think overall we need to be tougher, if that’s sending a message and committing […] The post Zach LaVine thinks Chicago needs to show more toughness appeared first on ClutchPoints.

Bobby Portis is Back, and Already Firing Away

Bobby Portis is Back, and Already Firing Away

missed crazy eyes After missing seven contests with his second major injury of the season (this time an ankle issue), Bobby Portis returned against the Brooklyn Nets pouring in 17 points on 6-for-11 from the field and grabbing five rebounds. It was for naught; however, as the Bulls unceremoniously fell 117-100 at the United Center. Here’s what we saw from Portis in his return. Same Old Bobby Portis is a gunner. Per 36 minutes, he has averaged the third highest shot attempts among Bulls players this season at 17.3 (Zach LaVine and Antonio Blakeney average more shots per 36 minutes than...

Bulls lose 119-116 OT thriller on Victor Oladipo banked 3-pointer

Bulls lose 119-116 OT thriller on Victor Oladipo banked 3-pointer

a legitimately fun, high-level game! After an absolutely dreadful performance against the Magic, the Bulls came out and put forth a spirited effort against a red-hot Pacers team in one of the wildest/fun games of the season. When the dust cleared, the Pacers came away with a 119-116 victory thanks to a Victor Oladipo banked 3-pointer with 0.3 seconds remaining (after possibly a missed over-and-back?): Oladipo drills the winner in OT pic.twitter.com/REFEsD8cuS— SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) January 5, 2019 In a perfect summation of this insane game, Zach LaVine hit a wild 3-pointer...

Bulls coach Jim Boylen says Lauri Markkanen, Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn have to do more at both ends of the floor

The Chicago Bulls have gone 5-9 since Jim Boylen took over as head coach of the team, now with a 10-28 record approaching the halfway mark of the season. Video: Bulls players try to speak Finnish with help from Lauri Markkanen

Apparently, it’s really hard to say ice cream cone in Finnish if your name is not Lauri Markkanen, and the players on the Chicago Bulls found that out the hard way. Even with the help of Lauri Markkanen, Bulls players Kris Dunn, Cameron Payne, Zach LaVine, Wendell Carter Jr., Antonio Blakeney and Cristiano Felício couldn’t say ice cream cone […] The post Video: Bulls players try to speak Finnish with help from Lauri Markkanen appeared first on ClutchPoints.

Bulls vs. Magic final score: Bulls get drilled to point where even slow pace can’t mask the deficit

Bulls vs. Magic final score: Bulls get drilled to point where even slow pace can’t mask the deficit

And here we were looking so competitive! The Bulls got massacred tonight to the tune of 112-84, which is even worse than it looks on paper considering there was a Boylen-y pace of play (lower than 93). The Bulls offense started out all Boylen-y in the first quarter, with stuff like Kris Dunn post-up turnarounds being called ‘good looks’ but then were airballed. To be fair it was a better look than the outside shooting, where they couldn’t buy anything. Dunn had a bad first stint, but really everyone did. Even Zach LaVine, though having more than half the team’s buckets, was...
