- 8 hours ago Bulls vs. Trail Blazers game preview and thread: Chicago hoping for another “should-win”
Blog a Bull Photo by Quinn Harris/ the injuries are mounting Tonight, our 24-27 Chicago Bulls will host one of the league’s other depressingly “mid” teams with one All-Star, the 26-26 Portland Trail Blazers. The Bulls will at least be better-rested, as Portland will be playing the second night of a back-to-back pair of games, having vanquished the Washington Wizards (like Chicago, another Eastern Conference play-in tournament hopeful) 124-116 last night in D.C. Portland’s prolific undersized starting backcourt of Damian Lillard and Anfernee Simons combined for 62 points on...
8 hours ago - Feb 2, 2023 Bulls vs. Hornets: Ayo Dosunmu’s big night leads Chicago to a 114-98 win
Blog a Bull Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports Bulls got the victory, but got banged up as well After losing at home on Tuesday, the Chicago Bulls got back to winning ways by defeating the Charlotte Hornets 114-98. The Bulls were only up four at halftime but had a very strong third quarter which put them up 15 heading into the fourth. Despite Charlotte cutting the lead down to single digits Chicago did enough to hold them off by hitting timely shots. Ayo Dosunmu led the way with a career high 22 points, doing so on scorching efficiency (nine of ten from the field). From the jump...
Feb 2, 2023 - Feb 2, 2023 Bulls vs. Hornets game preview: there are no “gimme” games for Chicago
Blog a Bull Photo by Jared C. Tilton/ will the Bulls fall to the Hornets again? Tonight, our Chicago Bulls look to avenge their incredibly depressing 111-96 collapse against the Charlotte Hornets last week in a rematch at the United Center. At 23-27, Chicago is currently the 11th seed in the East, and could really, really use supposed these “gimme” wins against lottery-bound clubs like the 15-37 Hornets if it’s serious about competing for a play-in tournament spot. But, as we know, this team is not particularly serious about that, at least as currently comprised. It’s hard...
Feb 2, 2023 - Feb 2, 2023 Bulls management can claim Lonzo’s injury hampers their activity. But what hurt just as much is being their typical cheap selves
Blog a Bull Photo by Michael Reaves/ AKME said they wanted ‘continuity’, it was really ‘affordability’ We have all come to expect the Bulls to do nothing at the trade deadline for several reasons. The primary reason being they’re the Bulls, and making trades is kind of showing off and comes off a bit desperate and we don’t do that here. Another being that while AKME has had some relative flurry of activity in their tenure, on the whole they have mostly dithered (sorry, ‘thorough evaluation buidling on personal relationships). Lonzo Ball’s injury has also been cited...
