Heat sign guard Drew, with D-League assignment to follow

In a move typical of the NBA personnel process at this time of the year, the Miami Heat on Monday signed point guard Larry Drew II, ostensibly to turn around and waive him and then add him to their NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
