Markieff Morris' post-up game progressed last season and became a much bigger part of his offense as the season went on, but it is his mid-range game that makes him most effective.
The West is deeper this season, but the race should be more balanced. Pacific, Southwest and Northwest division standings already have been made obsolete. The teams atop the West are no worse but their regular-season path turns more arduous.
