CougCenter — The basketball season is all wrapped up and we'll review the senior weekend that was in Pullman after stellar performances from Brock Motum and the rest of the WSU basketball team. We'll also go over their chances in the Pac-12 Tournament and whether they have a legitimate shot at a semifinal run, if not a little farther. Next, we'll ask a big question: should the Pac-12 tournament have been moved to a city without a Pac-12 team, no matter how great the city is to visit? Video: Desmond Simmons on stopping Brock Motum

Husky Men's Basketball Blog | Seattle Times — Here's video (above) of Washington forward Desmond Simmons talking about facing Washington State's Brock Motum, who is coming off of a 31-point performance last Saturday. Simmons helped limit Motum to 18 in UW's 72-68 win over WSU on March 3. In their first meeting, Motum had 15 against Simmons and the Huskies in a 68-63 UW win.

WSU's Motum Named Pac-12 Player of the Week, All-Pac-12 Second Team

SWX — Washington State senior Brock Motum was named the Pac-12 player of the week Monday morning after he helped the Cougars to a Southern California sweep last week. Soon after, Motum was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team.

CougCenter — The end of the season awards were announced by the Pac-12 on Monday and WSU senior Brock Motum was among those voted to the all-conference teams. Motum was one of five players voted to the All-Pac-12 second team, which is really like the third team since the first team consists of 10 players. The first team is loaded with guards and wings as Andre Roberson and Dwight Powell were the only inside post players to make the first team. No other WSU player received at least three votes for the all-conference team or were honored in any of the other categories. That doesn't come as much of a ...

Husky Men's Basketball Blog | Seattle Times — After leading Washington State to wins over then-No.23 UCLA and USC, Brock Motum won the final Player of the Week award in the Pac-12. He averaged 25.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 blocks in both contests while playing all but two minutes in both contests. The 6-10 senior forward tallied 21 points going on 7-for-18 shooting, 11 rebounds, three assists and a steal in WSU's first home win over UCLA - a 73-61 victory - since 1993. CougCenter — Washington State completed a highly-successful final homestand by blowing out the USC Trojans, 76-51, at Beasley Coliseum on Saturday afternoon. Brock Motum was the star for his final game on Friel Court, pouring in 31 points and adding 10 rebounds. The Cougars came out hot for the second-straight game, led by 21 first-half points from Motum. Hot Cougar Action: It's senior day at Washington State

CougCenter — Washington State's regular season comes to an end today at Friel Court and as part of the regular season finale, the Cougars will hold senior day festivities for Mike Ladd and Brock Motum. Ladd has missed the last six games due to injury, but Ken Bone called him "questionable" to play on Saturday. Questionable may not sound promising, but it's better than "out" so we'll take it. Injuries derailed Ladd's WSU career, so I guess it's fitting that he would be listed as questionable on senior night. It wouldn't surprise me if Ladd suits up, even if he doesn't play much.
