The grand jury returned indictments against Eddie Williams, D.J. Pettway, Tyler Hayes, and Brent Calloway on March 21, court records show. But the indictments did not appear in the state court system until late Wednesday afternoon.

Eddie Williams' attorney Josh Swords filed a waiver of preliminary hearing today around noon, according to Tuscaloosa County District Court Judge James C. Guin's office.

Preliminary hearings for Williams, D.J. Pettway and Brent Calloway are set for March 19.

Eddie Williams, Tyler Hayes, D.J. Pettway, Brent Calloway are off the team and out of school.

Eddie Williams has been granted permission to go back to Florida while out on bond and Brent Calloway has requested a preliminary hearing and applied for youthful offender status through his attorney.

"I just pray to God he learns from this and never ever makes another mistake like this in his life," says Williams' former coach, James Hale.
