Detroit News — Hill is in a battle to replace Le'Veon Bell as Michigan State's No. 1 running back. He was listed as the top back throughout the spring, but linebacker Riley Bullough was shifted to tailback late in camp and was selected ahead of Hill in the spring player draft.

The Only Colors — MSU held its second scrimmage on Saturday, and the offense came away with a 28-26 win this time. (Here's the first scrimmage recap) Again, It's a situational scrimmage, and points are given out in weird ways, but Nick Hill had a 7-yard touchdown run with just over a minute left to win it for the offense. (So the defense still can't get key stops at the end of games!
