Both FSU starting safeties could miss game vs. Maryland

Senior free safety Darius McClure will miss the game after going down with torn cartilage in his left knee last Saturday. And junior rover Myron Rolle is expected to miss at least the early part of the game after participating in Rhodes Scholarship interviews in Birmingham, Ala.

Tech hopes to choose an architect and construction firm in January or February, and seek design and funding approval from the Board of Visitors in March. The athletic department hopes to begin construction next summer so the building -- which would be about 33,000 square feet -- could be ready for the 2010 season.
