Buddy Alexander to retire as Florida Gators golf coach after 27th season

University of Florida golf coach Buddy Alexander, who led the Gators to two national championships and eight SEC titles, will retire effective June 30. The school released the announcement on its web site. Alexander, 61, was the UF golf coach for 27 years and is the longest-tenured coach at the school. He guided Florida to national championships in 1993 and 2001 and had seven top-five finishes in the NCAA Tournament. read more
