Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports Your Georgia Bulldogs have now wrapped up two days of spring practice, on the way to a total of 15 sessions culminating with the annual G Day scrimmage on April 13th. Rebirth vs. Reloading If there’s a theme to this spring it’s probably “renewal”, an appropriate watchword for this time of year when everything in northeast Georgia begins to bloom anew (and you begin buying Claritin in bulk). But if you think you’ve got a headache, you should see what Kirby Smart is dealing with. 58 of the 85 scholarship players on his roster have...

Georgia gymnastics traveled to Ann Arbor last weekend to take on #7 Michigan, and while the GymDogs came up short in a 197.075-196.300 loss, there were once again some positive signs for the future of Courtney Kupets Carter’s young team. Freshmen Holly Snyder (9.900) and Ady Wahl (9.925) each achieved season high scores on floor. Fellow frosh Lily Smith took home the event titles on bars (9.950) and in the all-around (39.500). Smith also matched her season-high score on floor with a spectacular 9.950 performance. In a remarkable show of consistency, five GymDogs tied for...

Diamond Dawgs now sit at 16-1 during the regular season The Georgia Diamond Dawgs are coming off of another huge week of play as they are now running with an eight game win streak along with a 16-1 record as it is the best start to a season in modern Georgia baseball history and this team shows no signs of slowing down. The Dawgs kicked off their week with a 7-2 win over the Eagles of Georgia Southern on Tuesday along with an 11-5 beat-down over the Stetson Hatters on Wednesday. Georgia would resume series play on Friday as they settled in for a four game set against the Bears...

Photo by Todd Kirkland/ The Georgia Bulldogs will return to the field this week after a 13-1 season that saw them win a dominating Orange Bowl victory, but fail to win their third consecutive national title. It’s pretty hard to say that ending the year ranked #4 in the nation is a disappointment. But we’ve reached the stage in Kirby Smart’s dynasty build in Athens at which national championships are a realistic annual goal. In 2024 getting to that goal is going to require several Bulldogs to step up and step into the lineup, taking on more responsibility and/or...

Coach Kupets Carter’s Georgia GymDogs have overcome a lot this season. Injuries, inexperience, it’s felt like this team was always just a little ways away from putting things together. While one shouldn’t count their chickens before they hatch or their landings before they’re stuck, on Friday night the Dawgs may have taken a definitive step in the right direction. The GymDogs posted a season high score in downing the visiting #14 ranked Auburn Tigers 197.550 to 196.900. In fact it wasn’t only their highest score of 2024. It was the highest team score for the Red and...
