University of Houston lands two more local recruits

The University of Houston picked up two more football commitments Tuesday. Manvel defensive end Hasaun Glasgow and Klein Oak defensive back Nygel King became the eighth and ninth pledges for UH’s 2016 class. Eight of the nine commitments are from the Greater Houston area.

Incoming University of Houston freshman Savannah Heebner was selected Thursday as the Gatorade Colorado Softball Player of the Year.
