MEMPHIS AND KROGER TEAM UP TO FIGHT HUNGER

MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis has teamed with participating area Kroger stores to sell $9.01 football tickets for the Tigers' season opener in support of the Zero Hunger Zero Waste Campaign. Memphis kicks off the 2018 season against Mercer on Sept. 1 at 6 p.m. in Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.   This game is a salute to the 901 area code. To support our neighbors in need, the Tigers will offer a special $9.01 game ticket and will donate $1 from each ticket sold to the Mid-South Food Bank.   Tickets for the Mercer game are currently on sale at Kroger stores throughout the Memphis...
