LA Tech men, Gibson try to keep their magical season going

The News Star — Tech has the most wins since the 1991-92 team went 23-8 and won the Sun Belt Conference. Kyle Gibson has been the team's leading scorer the entire season, averaging 19.1 points a game, although he has missed either part or all of the Bulldogs' last four games due to injury.

The News Star — WACO, Texas — Baylor piled on seven runs in the first three innings and took advantage of a Louisiana Tech team that was playing its fifth game in seven days as the Bulldogs dropped a 12-4 decision at Baylor Tuesday night in Waco.

After 13 innings, LA Tech finally tops Texas-Pan American

The News Star — EDINBURG, Texas— It took 13 innings, but Louisiana Tech (8-2) third baseman Mark Threlkeld hit a go-ahead two-RBI single in the top of the 13th inning to lead the Bulldogs to a 9-5 win over UT-Pan American (4-3) and extend his hitting streak to 10 games Saturday night at Edinburg Baseball Stadium.
