NU volleyball face challenge in Texas tonight

Daily Nebraskan — This time last year, the Nebraska volleyball team had everything to lose when they headed to Austin to face off with Texas. Despite sweeping UT early on in the 2007-2008 season, NU had an immense amount of pressure on them. The trip the Cornhuskers took to Austin that season was one they wouldn't soon forget.

But so far, it's been talented freshmen leading the way for the Cornhuskers. The Nebraska senior quarterback was named the Big 12 Conference's Offensive Player of the Week on Monday following a standout performance in the Cornhuskers' 56-28 win over Kansas State. Ganz passed for 270 yards and two touchdowns while also running for 95 yards and two more scores.
