The Awesomeness Of Nick O'Toole

#boomstache returns with an updated look for 2014 that will set the world on fire.  Every once in a while, a guy comes along that breaks the mold. Nick O'Toole is one of those guys. If you doubt it, you haven't seen the majesty and patriotism of this picture from Big 12 media days. It's the full version of the one you see above (credit: Kevin Jairaj - USA Today Sports). Uninhibited by the cameras and crowds, he seems like the kind of guy that would just fit in anywhere. WVU NC State Series Announced

Mountaineers and Wolfpack set to play a two game series in 2018 and 2019. Just like that, 2018 is shaping up to be a big out of conference year for the Mountaineer football team. Today it was announced that WVU and North Carolina State would  play a two game series. The first in Raleigh, NC in 2018 and then in Morgantown in 2019. Big 12 Media Day One Retweet

A look around at what was said at the first day of the Big 12 preseason kickoff.   If you were looking for a media day one that slowly eased you into the new season, this was not the media day you were looking for. Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby came out with both guns blazing as he opened with his state of the conference. "Unhappy change" just became Bob Bowlsby's ominous buzzphrase for college athletics. #LookingAtYouMidMajors — Allan Taylor (@AllanTaylorWVU) July 21, 2014  From the end of college athletics as you know it, to greed cheating is good or at least can pay off if...

Who Else Should WVU Schedule In The Future?

Luck has added Virginia Tech and Penn State, and is working on Pitt, but what other non-conference opponents would make for good match-ups? With the news last week that Virginia Tech and West Virginia will be renewing their rivalry a couple years earlier than previously anticipated, and last year's announcement about a series with Penn Sate in 2023 and 2024, Oliver Luck has successfully added two of WVU's historic rivals to upcoming schedules. In addition to VT and Penn State, rumors have been around for months about a nonconference neutral site matchup in Charlotte, North Carolina against...
