West Virginia's Mario Alford Selected By The Cincinnati Bengals In The 7th Round Of The NFL Draft

The WVU speedster was taken 238th overall by the Bengals. With the 21st pick of the 7th round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals selected the speedy wide receiver of the Mountaineers. Mario Alford came to WVU by way of Georgia Military College and in his first season under Coach Holgorsen's tutelage, Alford caught 27 passes for 552 yards and 2 touchdowns. Like Kevin White, his second season in Morgantown was a breakout for Alford. Mario basically doubled his production, good for 65 catches and 945 yards. His 11 touchdown receptions in 2014 was good enough to tie for the Big 12...

The Muntaineer linebacker was selected 158th overall. In the 5th round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals selected the pass rush specialist linebacker of the Mountaineers. It was the 22nd pick of the 5th round of the draft. Shaq Riddick came to Morgantown by way of Gardner Webb as a transfer after being named an All American at that level. The WVU lineman was taken 134th overall by the Seahawks. With the 35th pick of the 4th round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks selected the reliable offensive lineman of the Mountaineers. Mark Glowinski came to WVU by way of Lackawanna (Junior) College where he was a two year starter and earned 2nd team NJCAA All American in 2011. A profile of Kevin White ahead of the first round of the NFL Draft. The first West Virginia Mountaineer picked during the 2015 NFL Draft will likely be wide receiver, Kevin White. White played two seasons with the Mountaineers as a JUCO transfer. In his junior season in 2013, White made 35 catches for 507 total yards and five touchdowns.
