Milwaukee Journal Sentinel — Mike Taylor isn't sure whether he will be healthy enough to play Saturday night when No. 12 Wisconsin opens the season at UNLV. The sophomore linebacker insisted, however, that he plans to play no later than Week 2 when UW hosts San Jose State.

Big Ten's new alignment separates UW from nearby rivals

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel — When the Big Ten revealed its pair of six-team divisions for football, beginning in 2011 with the arrival of Nebraska, UW fans learned: The Badgers and rival Minnesota will be in opposite divisions; UW won't face Iowa or Northwestern every season; You'll see a lot more of Illinois, Indiana and Purdue.
