So, It's April 15th

It's the 15th of April, and usually that's the day that everybody submits their taxes and that sort of thing. (Well, it should still be the day you submit your taxes and that sort of thing. . .damn sure don't try to do it tomorrow.) But many fans of the Minnesota Vikings have had this day marked on their calendars for quite a while. Yes, it's the first day that running back Adrian Peterson can potentially be reinstated by the National Football League, per the edict from Roger Goodell that followed his suspension last season. Cowboys Have Salary Cap Space, But Not As Much As You Would Think

The Cowboys look like they have salary cap space, but the details say different. Recently, we posted about Tony Romo restructuring his contract to create salary cap space for Dallas. It was reported it freed up $12.8 million for the Cowboys to use in 2015. Immediately some tried to equate that number with Adrian Peterson's contract number for 2015 and do some creative thinking with the upshot that Peterson would end up in Dallas. Our own Tom Ryle showed why that wasn't likely to happen. In that article was also a discussion about how the Cowboys still need money to pay Greg Hardy. That...

Vikings Mock 4.6.15

Since my last mock the Vikings have continued their very efficient dumpster diving and signed 3 players. Mike Kafka QB, Ceasar Rayford DE, and a long snapper named Kevin McDermott. I hope the dudes can make the team. There are still some players out there but it does not look like the Vikings are that interested in any (that we know of) at this point. I still like Steve Wisniewski, Gabe Carimi OG/OT, Colin McCarthy LB, and Da'Quan Bowers DE/DT as other signings. As for Adrian Peterson, well, the trade machine is in full effect.  There are still more teams I could imagine where he could...
