Colts' Andrew Luck still limited, Matt Hasselbeck misses practice

Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said today that quarterback Andrew Luck is still limited with a shoulder injury and that Matt Hasselbeck missed practice today because he is sick. We're just a couple of days away from the Indianapolis Colts returning to the field to take on the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football, and that means that today was the final day of media availability before the game.  As such, the Andrew Luck watch was in full swing, but like usual, we didn't learn much. During the portion of practice open to the media, Andrew Luck and Matt Hasselbeck were nowhere to be...

Bills sign former Colts running back Boom Herron

The Buffalo Bills signed former Colts running back Boom Herron today. In the last preseason game of the year, Colts running back Boom Herron injured his shoulder on a kickoff return.  The injury was going to take a few weeks to heal, and so instead of carrying an injured backup running back on their active roster, the Colts waived-injured Herron, and then after he cleared waivers, they released him from their injured reserve with an injury settlement. It sounds like Herron is now healthy and thus was free to work out with teams, and he was visiting the New England Patriots yesterday...

Cornerback Greg Toler "good to go" for Colts on Thursday night

Colts starting cornerback Greg Toler is back and will make his season debut this Thursday night against the Texans. We've been on Andrew Luck watch for the past week and that has, obviously, taken the headlines when it comes to the Colts and injuries, but the Colts also got some good injury news: cornerback Greg Toler is back.  "He's up," Chuck Pagano confirmed, meaning that Toler will play Thursday night.  "Good to go." The Colts have really been missing Toler ever since he went out with a neck injury in the preseason, as opposing quarterbacks have had a lot of success against an injured...

2015 NFL Week 4: Inside the Colts Numbers - Disaster Avoided

Despite a shoulder injury keeping Andrew Luck out of the game, the Colts got some fortuitous "luck" late Sunday in a 16-13 overtime victory over the Jaguars. While the win is what was needed, the Colts play should definitely not be repeated. What took the Colts 14 tries in 2011 took just once in 2015: winning a game without their franchise Quarterback. The Andrew Luck-less Colts somehow managed to defeat the Jaguars Sunday 16-13 in Overtime, thanks to some timely stops by the Defense, a couple big plays in overtime, and 3 (!) missed field goals late in the game by the Non-Josh-Scobee...

SEATTLE -- James Ihedigbo was so tired, so sore, so emotionally and physically spent, he asked a reporter to open his water bottle for him. He was either too sore to do it himself, or too broken to try. Yet...
