Four Kansas City Chiefs have been ruled out for this Sunday’s game against the New York Giants. As mentioned earlier this week, Ford has not practiced since leaving the October 30 game against the Denver Broncos due to a back injury. Wilson left that same game with a hamstring injury and also hasn’t practiced since....

Injury update: Four Chiefs not practicing out of the bye week

The great thing about having the bye week is that it typically allows NFL players ample time to recover from lingering injuries. But that’s not necessarily the case for the Chiefs, who will be without four players as they begin to prepare for their Week 11 matchup with the New York Giants on Wednesday. Allen Bailey, Dee Ford, Tamba Hali and Albert Wilson won’t practice today for the #Chiefs.— BJ Kissel (@ChiefsReporter) November 15, 2017 Linebacker Dee Ford has not practiced since leaving the October 30 game against the Denver Broncos due to a back injury. Chiefs rule Dee Ford, Albert Wilson out vs. Cowboys, could add a receiver

As expected the Kansas City Chiefs will be without LB Dee Ford and WR Albert Wilson in Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. Both players have been on the injury report earlier this season, both came out of last Monday’s game against the Broncos and now both have been ruled out for the Cowboys game. Andy Reid said earlier this week that Ford was getting some tests done on his back injury which seems a little ominous. Back injuries aren’t usually a good thing so perhaps it’s very good timing that Tamba Hali is coming back because Ford’s immediate future seems murky. As for...

Chiefs’ Dee Ford, Albert Wilson don’t practice, Tamba Hali not listed on injury report

The Kansas City Chiefs first injury report for Dallas Cowboys week is now out. LB Tamba Hali is not listed on this report because I have yet to see anything from the league that he has been formally taken off the PUP list. I know it’s been reported he would be coming off the PUP ... it was also reported he would practice and he didn’t do that today. So we’re still in limbo there. For everyone else, the big name here is Dee Ford. This is definitely concerning that he’s back on this list with a back injury. We will be monitoring this one as the week (and season) goes along. Albert...

Why I love Albert Wilson

Why I love Albert Wilson

I’ve been thinking about writing this article for a long time, but I’ve always held off. Truth be told I don’t much care to talk about myself. However, I’ve been asked numerous times why I like Albert Wilson so much so I figured I would finally share. I was sitting in a dimly lit student research space in the top floor of EBE at the University of Missouri. It was almost one in the morning during the start of the fall semester in 2013. Looking over my shoulder I heard some quiet rustling ... and the only place it seemed to be coming from was the community fridge located on the side...

Albert Wilson’s tipped-pass TD was approved by pair of injured Chiefs teammates

Call it karma. Call it things balancing out. People may not agree on why it happened, but there is no disputing the end result: a touchdown for the Chiefs. Days …

Chiefs somehow get a tipped pass touchdown that goes for 63 yards

The Kansas City Chiefs got some payback for last week’s touchdown with this 63-yard touchdown pass from Alex Smith to Albert Wilson. Watch the play here with the tipped pass and catch: ALEX SMITH CAN DO NO WRONG #CHIEFS pic.twitter.com/FGSBIDyHpH— Clay Wendler (@ClayWendler) October 20, 2017 It’s payback for last week because a very similar play to this happened last week in the Steelers game when Antonio Brown caught a tipped pass and ran it back for a touchdown. That touchdown killed the Chiefs in that game and helped them to the loss. The Chiefs were the victims of another...

Albert Wilson, CJ Spiller active for Chiefs vs. Raiders

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced their inactives for Thursday night’s game in Oakland and the big news is that WR Albert Wilson will play. He was out last week and it really did hurt the Chiefs so this is good news that he’s playing. The Chiefs already ruled out C Mitch Morse, G Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and RB Charcandrick West before the game. RB CJ Spiller is active for this game. We’ll see if he gets any touches.
