Bengals may look into Anthony Fasano; His relation to Andrew Whitworth in 2006 draft

Anthony Fasano has logged 109 starts over nine seasons with the Cowboys, Dolphins and Chiefs. Could the Bengals be his next team? The Bengals have already set up a visit with James Casey after Philadelphia cut him, and they could target another tight end who was just released in Anthony Fasano. The 9-year veteran  was on tap to make $2.8 million next season, and Fasano finished his 2-year run in Kansas City with 48 catches for 426 yards and seven touchdowns over 26 games. The Chiefs will save $1.96 million with the move, per OverTheCap.com, and they simply weren't going to pay him that...

Chiefs' Travis Kelce says his goodbye to Anthony Fasano

The Kansas City Chiefs released tight end Anthony Fasano this week and that will directly impact Travis Kelce, who is now the leader of the tight ends after a dynamic second season in the league. Kelce entered the league a month after the Chiefs signed Fasano so he's always had his teammate there. Heading into next season all of that changes. It's clear that it was time for him to take the starring role. Kelce took a minute to say goodbye to his now former teammate, Anthony Fasano. I got more respect for this man than I do a lot of others in the league. He's helped myself grow in this...

The Chiefs released veteran tight end Anthony Fasano Thursday in an...

Reactions to Anthony Fasano's release from the Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly releasing veteran TE Anthony Fasano, who signed a four-year contract with the team two years ago. It was that same year that the Chiefs drafted Travis Kelce to eventually replace him. That has now come. Chiefs fans reacted to the decision to release Fasano and while everyone seemed to recognize that it was a necessary move given the salary cap situation, it's clear Fasano will be missed by plenty. Before we get to the reactions, check out this all-time butt touchdown from Fasano. I'll miss Fasano. Was a decent player. Reliable. — Welp...
