Vic Carucci of clevelandbrowns.com expects rookie running back Terrance West to push Ben Tate for the starting job in training camp.Fantasy Spin:The Browns signed Tate this offseason and drafted West in the third round. Tate backed up Arian Foster the past three years in Houston and had 1,992 yards and 10 touchdowns on 421 carries (4.7 ypc) and is the favorite to win the job. The Browns are expected to be a run-heavy team this season following Josh Gordon's expected suspension, so both Tate and West could see enough carries to make them fantasy options.

Browns starting RB job up for grabs?

Rookie West could push Tate during training camp Ben Tate enters camp as at least a slight favorite to win the starting job. Tate had every reason to assume he was a shoo-in to become the Browns' No. 1 back because at the time there was no one approaching his talent level on the team. That dramatically changed when the Browns made Terrance West their third-round draft pick and added Isaiah Crowell as an undrafted free agent. West quickly emerged as a formidable challenger for the starting role. (ClevelandBrowns.com) FF Today's Take: The Browns figure to be a run-heavy team...

Browns Plan To Use RBBC

Browns coach Mike Pettine says the team will use a "running back by committte" in 2014. SOURCE: Cleveland Plain DealerFantasy Spin:"I think in the AFC North, you have to be running back by committee," Pettine said. "You'd like to have a guy that can carry most of the load, but also be able to alternate guys." With one-back proponent Kyle Shanahan in the fold as offensive coordinator, free-agent signee Ben Tate looked to be in a great situation after backing up Arian Foster for a few years, but third-round pick Terrance West is going to be more involved than anyone expected.
