Emmanuel Sanders and Isaiah McKenzie to miss at least one game

Broncos receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Isaiah McKenzie did not break their ankles during a 23-10 loss to the Giants on Sunday. That’s the good news. The bad news is both receivers sprained their ankles and they will miss at least next week’s game against the Chargers, according to KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis. Coach Vance Joseph is scheduled to meet with the media on Monday afternoon and he will likely update each player’s status. Isaiah McKenzie leaves game with injury against Giants

Shortly after receiver Emmanuel Sanders was ruled out with an ankle injury, rookie receiver Isaiah McKenzie was carted off the field with an ankle injury of his own. Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas is also not playing at full strength. The team quickly ruled McKenzie out after he left the field. Emmanuel Sanders leaves game with injury against Giants

A bad night keeps getting worse for the Broncos. Trailing the Giants 20-3 at home, Denver lost star receivers Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) and Demaryius Thomas (leg) to injuries on “Sunday Night Football.” Sanders and Thomas were both taken to the locker room in the second half. Sanders was quickly ruled out but the team said Thomas is “probable” to return. Thomas returned to the game in the fourth quarter.
