TNT 2013 NFL draft preview: QB/RBs to consider

Seahawks Insider | Tacoma News-Tribune — The Seattle Seahawks have their starting quarterback in Russell Wilson, signed Brady Quinn in free agency as the backup and brought back third-year pro Josh Portis because of his knowledge of the team’s offense. So the Seahawks are good at quarterback, right? Not so fast. 2013 NFL Draft: Who will be this year's Brady Quinn?

Bleeding Green Nation — Seemingly every year, some prospect who every mock drafter and pundit had as a top pick will slide. They'll all react with shock and inevitably praise the team that does eventually draft the guy as getting a great "value." In reality though, guys probably don't slide very much in the draft. At least in relation to where they are on the draft boards of actual NFL teams, which often differ from those of draftniks. So who may surprise everyone this year? This probably isn't quite the career trajectory Quinn had been hoping for when he entered the league as a first round pick in 2007 but at least he's still getting a paycheck.

The San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks will arguably be two of the most-hyped teams to make the Super Bowl out of the NFC in 2013. Although each team is confident in their young starting quarterback, Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson, respectively, they still needed to find a competent backup. As it turns out, both teams opted to go with quarterbacks who were formerly drafted by the...
