NFL Free Agency Pass-Rusher Profile: Brandon Graham

Graham has been one of the league's most efficient pass rushers over the past 3 years. His asking price might be just outside the Bengals' budget, but he would be a massive upgrade to the team's rotation at defensive end. With so many hybrid rushers in this year's draft, it seems more likely that the Bengals turn to free agency to fix their pass rush problem. Justin Houston and Pierre-Paul were both franchise-tagged on Monday, but the free agent pass rusher class is still loaded. At the top, there's also Jerry Hughes, Pernell McPhee, and Greg Hardy. Hughes, a 4-3 defensive end from Buffalo,...

Titans Free Agent Targets 2015: Brandon Graham

The Tennessee Titans need help off the edge in free agency, and a lot of it. The Titans need help at outside linebacker, or EDGE defender as it is being called these days, and a lot of it.  One guy that could really help them is Brandon Graham of the Philadelphia Eagles.  He has a similar career path to that of Derrick Morgan.  Graham was drafted to play 4-3 defensive end, but transitioned mainly to outside linebacker after Chip Kelly took over. Pro Football Focus had him ranked as the 4th best edge defender heading into free agency.  Two of the guys ahead of him, Justin Houston and...

Eagles contract talks with Brandon Graham, Trent Cole reportedly aren't progressing well [UPDATE]

Uh oh. According to CSN Philly's Geoff Mosher, there are concerns about the Eagles contract negotiations with outside linebackers Trent Cole and Brandon Graham. Exact quote: "Starting to hear talks [between] Eagles and both Trent Cole + Brandon Graham aren't progressing very well." Mosher's report follows news that emerged on Tuesday afternoon that Cole is unwilling to take a pay cut. If true, this is obviously a concern for Philadelphia. Cole has been a key starter on the Eagles defense 2006 while Graham has been a very valuable pass rusher off the bench. It's been expected that the...

Eagles Rumors: Cary Williams update, Trent Cole's contract, Nolan Carroll to safety?

The Eagles have a lot of decisions to make this offseason. CSN Philly's Geoff Mosher published an interesting article containing some of the sourced information he's heard during his time at the 2015 NFL Combine this past week. Read the entire piece here. There's nothing too pressing to discuss but there are some good nuggets in there. Here are the main takeaways from Mosher's column, and my thoughts on them: Don't rule out a Brandon Graham return. "Don’t shut the door on a return for Graham. Sources close to the outside linebacker still believe it’s more likely he’ll leave in...

Brandon Graham: Potential Jets

The Jets could take a look at the young pass rusher Brandon Graham was the #13 pick in the 2010 by the Eagles, who traded up to get him. Unfortunately for Graham, he was drafted one spot ahead of the player all Eagles fans thought Philly was trading up for, Earl Thomas. Earl Thomas has become one of the league's elite defensive players, while Graham still has yet to become a starter for the Eagles defense. It has overshadowed Graham's career, which is a bit of a shame because Graham has actually been a pretty good player. 5 years later, Graham is hitting free agency and may finally find a...

NFL Free Agency: Eagles chances of keeping Brandon Graham are 50-50

Will the Eagles re-sign their former first round pick? Apparently Eagles cornerback Cary Williams isn't the only player with a "50-50" chance to return to Philadelphia next season. According to Tim McManus of Birds 24/7, the same odds have been placed on a potential Brandon Graham re-signing. "Meanwhile, the lines of communication between the team and Brandon Graham remain open, we're told. Back in December, the Eagles expressed interest in bringing Graham back on a four-year, $24 million deal ($6 million average). Graham’s camp is looking for something in the $7-8 million per year...

Dallas Cowboys Free Agency Focus: Brandon Graham's High Motor Would Be Great Fit

The Philadelphia Eagles ranked in the top of the league in pass rushers. One of those rushers is set to hit free agency. The Cowboys should be one of the firsts to come-a-knocking. In order for the Dallas Cowboys to take it to another level in 2015, Rod Marinelli is going to need to fill his very bare cupboard with some "Rushmen." Pro Football Focus ranked the Philadelphia Eagles as the most efficient pass rush in the NFL for 2014.  Rotoworld recently suggested that the Eagles will allow their defensive end Brandon Graham to test the market. The Cowboys would be wise to court the young...

Brandon Graham seeking contract worth $30 million over 4 years

Should the Eagles re-sign their former first round pick? Will they even have the chance? The start of 2015 NFL free agency on March 10 is less than a month away and it will be here before you know it. In the meantime, athe Philadelphia Eagles have some decisions to make when it comes to keeping their own players. The Jeremy Maclin situation obviously draws the most attention, but the Eagles have an even tougher decision to make on a different former first round pick: Brandon Graham. According to CSN Philly, Graham is "seeking a four-year deal in the $30 million neighborhood, with $20...
