Steelers fans want James Harrison back in the fold this offseason, but the former defensive player of the year could be destined for the Brett Keisel treatment as the team approaches Spring workouts. James Harrison's agent has said the former defensive player of the year would be willing to play football for any team in the NFL in 2015, but the Tennessee Titans where Dick LeBeau is running the defense as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers are obvious front runners for a Harrison return next year. Analyzing the decision to keep Cam Thomas over Brett Keisel

The Steelers released veteran DE Brett Keisel and, as of the remaining few hours before the start of free agency, kept Cam Thomas. It's a move that will likely anger much of Steeler Nation, but it makes sense looking at the entire group. Ed Bouchette spoke of elephants in the room when referring to the decision the team needs to make regarding Troy Polamalu. A much smaller elephant, but one who will make far more noise among Steeler Nation in 2015, is the (presumed) decision to keep Cam Thomas over Brett Keisel. The team had a decision to make, and their two options as far as depth...

Steelers release DE Brett Keisel

The Steelers career of Brett Keisel has ended after 12 seasons with the team. The Beard may be forced to move onto his life's work. The Steelers announced the release of veteran defensive end Brett Keisel, just one year into the two-year deal he signed in August to return to the only club he's played for in 13 NFL seasons. Keisel suffered a biceps injury late in the 2014 season, and was questionable to return with the team in 2015. The release saves the Steelers $1.75 million on their 2015 salary cap, a figure that was getting tight after the signings of outside linebacker Arthur...
