Sammy Watkins visits Lions, says it'd be 'blessing' to play with Megatron, Tate

The Lions hosted Watkins on one of their 30 pre-draft visits today, three weeks after general manager Martin Mayhew and coach Jim Caldwell dined with the Clemson receiver the night before his pro day. Watkins, roundly considered the top pass catcher in a deep draft, told the Free Press he met Lions receivers Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate during his visit, the first he's taken this spring.
