The Sporting News re-ranks the NFL Draft; if it were held today, the luster would be off Jacksonville QB Blake Bortles

After veteran Chad Henne was given an early season hook, Blake Bortles took the helm of the Jacksonville Jaguars, who stand 1-9 on the 2014 season. The rookie quarterback completed 176 of 278 passes for 1,921 yards. He’s tossed eight touchdowns and been picked off 14 times. His quarterback rating is a lackluster 72.2. For comparison, Henne’s QB rating stood at 80.7. Bortles has been plagued by the interception bug, sometimes indecisive rookie feet and an unhealthy crop of receivers. read more
