Chad Johnson, the former Miami Dolphins wide receiver who went on the lam after failing to check in with his probation officer, spent Monday in the Broward County jail before posting bail and being released.

Former Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson was arrested in Broward County, Fla. after he failed to report for probation twice and failed to prove he is enrolled in a domestic violence education class, according to TMZ. Johnson was arrested prior to the 2012 season after allegedly headbutting his now ex-wife, Evelyn Lozada. He was placed on probation after pleading no contest to domestic battery. A judge issued a warrant for former Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson's arrest in Broward County, Fla. on May 7, according to TMZ. Johnson allegedly failed to report to his probation officer, which was assigned to him stemming from the domestic violence conviction involving his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada in 2012.
