Is Chris Carson the long-term answer for the Seahawks at running back?

The Seattle Seahawks are in a bit of a pickle. Albeit a good one. Last year, in the first round, the Seahawks drafted Rashaad Penny to be their lead-back of the future. What are the chances Ziggy Ansah is healthy to start the 2018 season?

Tuesday was the second day of OTAs for the Seattle Seahawks, and following practice Pete Carroll met with the media and gave updates on multiple members of the team who had offseason surgeries. Those included running back Chris Carson, defensive tackle Jarran Reed and safeties Bradley McDougald and Delano Hill. Those four are all expected to be recuperated and ready before the start of training camp in July, and so the attention turns to the team’s recent free agent acquisition who had late season surgery, defensive end Ziggy Ansah. Carroll said Ziggy Ansah “has a chance” to be...

During his meeting with the media following the second day of offseason OTAs, Seattle Seahawks head coach surprised observers when he revealed that the team’s starting running back, Chris Carson, had offseason surgery. While Carson is expected to return to offseason activities in a couple of weeks, the timetable for a handful of other members of the team to resume their activities following offseason procedures is a bit longer. Injury update: Chris Carson had offseason knee surgery

The offense of the Seattle Seahawks took a big hit when the team released Doug Baldwin earlier this month. The end of his time with the Hawks had been rumored since the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville in April, and the fact that the team drafted three wide receivers certainly gave the appearance that the Seahawks were anticipating moving forward without him. Then, at his press conference following the second day of OTAs, head coach Pete Carroll surprised observers with an update on the team’s 2018 breakout offensive start, Chris Carson. Pete Carroll said Chris Carson "had a little work...
