Good injury news for Atlanta on Tuesday. I've been wondering when the Falcons would get Grady Jarrett and Chris Chester back on the field. As it turns out, we didn't have to wait that long to find out. Chris Chester and Grady Jarrett, neither of whom participated in OTAs, did individual work today — Andrew Hirsh (@andrewhirsh) June 14, 2016 It's just a skip and a hop from individual work to full practice, metaphorically speaking, so you should expect that both of these guys will be good to go for training camp. Jarrett is expected to man the nose for Atlanta and start in his second...

Coach Quinn’s talk of competition is not just talk. It’s easy to get excited by the early news coming out of OTAs and mini-camp, but the hype often doesn’t predict reality. However, you can get a glimpse into the philosophy going into preseason and get an idea of who may surprise in the coming months. Could have practiced but held him as a precaution. — Jeanna (@jeannathomas) June 7, 2016 No update to the injury report from OTAs except @devontafreeman was held out of team drills today — FalconsKelsey (@FalconsKelsey) June 7, 2016 Freeman's injury is not serious and will not cost him enough...

The three Falcons dealing with long-term injuries are the ones to keep your eye on this week. The Atlanta Falcons are approaching June minicamp (open to the public!) relatively healthy. What would really enhance my piece of mind is if we found out that the team was fully healthy, though, and we should get an update sometime this week. The three names to know here are Grady Jarrett (knee tendinitis), Chris Chester (offseason surgery), and Devin Hester (offseason surgery). There's no particular indication that Jarrett or Chester is going to miss training camp time, but until we get progress...
