Peterson won't be back with Vikings next NFL season

Running back Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings are officially parting ways as the NFL team confirmed that he won't return to the club next season. General manager Rick Spielman announced that the Vikings will not resign Peterson to a contract for the 2017 season. Minnesota did not say whether they offered the 31-year-old Peterson any type of deal.
