49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick couldn't get his, or the team's offense going ... again.Fantasy Spin:Kaepernick threw for just 141 yards and ran for 46 yards. He still hasn't run for a touchdown all season and his team produced just seven points against the Seahawks. Not surprising results and fantasy owners shouldn't have started him.

Colin Kaepernick mercurial in the first half at Seattle

First half analysis against Seahawks -Jump cuts by Carlos Hyde and Frank Gore accounted for big rushng yards during the first drive -A Colin Kaepernick pass looked like it was headed for linebacker Bobby Wagner, but the ball was tipped at the line of scrimmage. Kaepernick was trying to throw to tight end Vernon Davis on the play -Former 49ers turned Seahawks got into 49ers’ heads early, when Ricardo Lockette scuffled with safety Eric Reid and fullback Will Tukuafu verbally jousting with Aldon Smith. -The first sack of Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson was actually caused by Aldon Smith,...

This is the transcript of Colin Kaepernick’s Wednesday interview, courtesy of the 49ers’ p.r. department. What’s your reaction to DT Ray McDonald being released? “Not a situation you want to hear about. Very unfortunate.”   General manager Trent Baalke just addressed the media and he said head coach Jim Harbaugh told the team. Can you […]

So why can't Colin Kaepernick run the football?

Colin Kaepernick isn't running any less, but he's certainly running worse. There's plenty of valid reasons for San Francisco 49ers fans to be upset about the team's offense and its quarterback, Colin Kaepernick. The play-calling is pretty terrible for the most part, the wide receivers' routes take ages to develop, the blocking schemes don't seem to line up with the quarterback's dropback, the offensive line play is downright sloppy and the inability to make adjustments on the fly is so prominent that it actually feels intentional at times. This is all centered around Kaepernick, who isn't...

Trent Dilfer knows what he's talking about

You might want to discount Trent Dilfer's comments about Colin Kaepernick, but you shouldn't. The 49ers are reeling on offense, and that means everyone feels qualified to offer their two cents. We have Steve Young playing the role of body language expert. Jerry Rice is convinced we need a return to the "read option offense." But it’s the comments of one other 49ers quarterback that interest me the most. I’m interested in the comments of none other than Trent Dilfer. In case you missed it, Dilfer said Kaepernick has "been hardened and broken by the NFL from a mental standpoint, from a...
