ICYMI in NFL Week 7: Colin Kaepernick, social issues back in news

ICYMI in NFL Week 7: Colin Kaepernick, social issues back in news

Colin Kaepernick is no longer in the NFL — which, when one considers that Derek Anderson and Cody Kessler are getting snaps at quarterback, is fascinating — and the White House-driven conversation about pregame national anthems in the league largely has receded.Still, on this given Sunday, both Kaepernick, and the ramifications of his protest movement about racial equality and social justice, were back in the news.Thats because Kaepernicks former teammate with the San Francisco 49ers, safety Eric Reid — who is still kneeling during The Star-Spangled Banner with his current club, the...

Time to answer your questions The more the New York Giants lose the more questions that raises about the future and how the organization will try to dig itself out of the mess the team has gotten into. Let’s try and answer some of those questions in this week’s Big Blue View mailbag. What is Rhett Ellison’s injury, he’s a big loss, why aren’t Giants running more two TE Offensive plays, hopefully Ellison is back soon, him with Engram helps a lot.— pete (@RoellPeter) October 12, 2018 Ed says: Rhett Ellison has a foot injury. Golden Nuggets: Wow, that was quite an oversight

Golden Nuggets: Wow, that was quite an oversight

Your San Francisco 49ers links for Saturday, October 13th 2018 So the San Francisco 49ers somehow forgot to add Colin Kaepernick to their photo gallery of memories against the Green Bay Packers. I don’t doubt for a second that was an oversight. An oversight by someone else to not notice that somehow Kaepernick was omitted from photographs. While the 49ers organization is supportive of Kaepernick, that doesn’t have to mean everyone within it is. So one has to wonder if this was an oversight or something calculated by some knucklehead in the building. The good thing is, the 49ers owned...

49ers: Colin Kaepernick not intentionally omitted from online photo gallery

The 49ers said this morning they did not intentionally omit former quarterback Colin Kaepernick from an online photo gallery on the team web site that was billed on social media as featuring the "top moments between the 49ers and Packers since 1950." Kaepernick was not among the 48 photos posted Thursday in advance of the 49ers’ visit to Green Bay on Monday night. Kaepernick led the 49ers to three memorable wins over the Packers, including a record-breaking performance in one of his two playoff victories over Green Bay. The galley was updated this morning to include Kaepernick.
