Jets Sign TE Chris Herndon

The New York Jets have signed their 4th round selection in the 2018 NFL draft, tight end Chris Herndon. Herndon signed a four year deal worth slightly more than $3 million. Chris Herndon is a 6’ 4”, 255 pound tight end out of the University of Miami. He played behind 2017 1st round pick David Njoku for all but his senior year. In Herndon’s college career he played in 40 games and caught 86 passes for 1048 yards and seven touchdowns.
