Denarius Moore caught three passes for 23 yards in Sunday's Week 3 loss to the Patriots.

Denarius Moore bringing “different demeanor”

The Raiders kept Denarius Moore and other receivers on the final roster over former Brown Greg Little because, coach Dennis Allen said, fourth-year veteran Moore … regressed. “D-Mo, I think, has really kind of gotten back to where he was maybe a couple of years ago when we first got here,” Allen said. “I saw a different demeanor out of Denarius Moore this year and he’s been a lot more consistent. I think he’s beginning to take that next step, which is really a positive sign.” Moore caught two touchdown passes from rookie Derek Carr in the preseason finale Thursday to loudly cap...

Adams prepares to face Carr, Raiders again

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- It was a play Phillip Adams would’ve liked to have back. During a preseason game a week ago, Adams, then a member of the Seattle Seahawks, was beaten badly on Oakland Raiders wideout Denarius Moore’s 36-yard touchdown reception. The 26-year-old cornerback hesitated slightly as rookie quarterback Derek Carr looked off the safety following a play-action fake, allowing Moore to get behind him along the right sideline for an easy catch and score.

Denarius Moore has earned his spot on the Oakland Raiders

Denarius Moore has earned his spot on the Oakland Raiders

Remember when Denarius Moore was a possible bubble player that had fallen way down on the Oakland Raiders initial depth chart? That feels so long ago already. Denarius has played well all preseason long, no matter who was at quarterback. He has been a consistent playmaker and has solidified his spot on this year's Raiders team. At the time of that initial depth chart it had seemed surreal to see Moore take such a large fall from grace because he had such a great rookie year back in 2011. However, that was years ago and he has failed to live up to those heightened expectations afterward....

Moore makes case for roster spot, starting job

Most of the Raiders key players received the night off Thursday. Others such as veteran wide receiver Denarius Moore played because the coaches wanted one last look at them before the final roster cuts take place. Moore made a convincing… Continue Reading →

Seahawks vs. Raiders Final Score: Seattle falls in Oakland, 41-31

Welp, the preseason is over. The Seahawks got off to a blistering start on their first drive against the Raiders Friday night, moving down the field 80 yards in four plays and just under two minutes to go up 7-0. On that drive, Russell Wilson's only, he went 3-for-3 for 77 yards, including a beautiful redline pass to Jermaine Kearse down the right sideline, then followed that up later with a nice seam route to Luke Willson for a touchdown. The Raiders, led by rookie Derek Carr, responded with a very strong drive of their own, at one point extended by a great Denarius Moore one-handed catch...
