Chris Baker and DeSean Jackson Receive Fines From Cardinals Game

NT Chris Baker and WR DeSean Jackson both received fines for plays during last week's Cardinals game. Redskins NT Chris Baker was fined $10,000 by the NFL for grabbing Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer's facemask and pulling his helmet off.  Redskins WR DeSean Jackson was fined $16,537 for a horse collar tackle on Cardinals' DB Rashad Johnson.  He was returning an interception from Kirk Cousins during the 4th quarter, and Jackson pulled him down from behind as he was going out of bounds.  Neither play was penalized on the field during the game, which was surprising considering how...

Cardinals vs. Redskins 2nd half live blog/reactions

Keep the conversation going. The first half is in the books. The Arizona Cardinals lead the Washington Redskins 14-13. Carson Palmer is 14/22 for 138 yards and two TDs -- one to Michael Floyd and one to Larry Fitzgerald. Andre Ellington has 39 yards on seven carries. Alex Okafor has a sack, too. But the Cardinals have struggled with big plays and penalties. They have been flagged seven times and DeSean Jackson scorched them for a 64-yard touchdown play. Big plays led to the two Kai Forbath field goals, too. Can the Cardinals pull away, or will it come down to the wire? Remember: 1....

Hazard's Huddle: DeSean Jackson's Comeback vs. Seattle Seahawks

An All-22 film look at DeSean Jackson's best route. Many would argue that DeSean Jackson's best route is the fly route. Why?He is almost 100% open in Cover 1 or Cover 3. Each team respects his speed and gives him cushion. In Cover 1, Jackson uses his footwork to cross up a defender before breaking off the route. In Cover 3, he eats up the defenders cushion until the defender gets into a full sprint bail and breaks it off. Against...
