The San Francisco 49ers have added some depth at inside linebacker. The San Francisco 49ers will be bringing back one more of their own free agents. Matt Barrows is reporting Desmond Bishop will sign a one-year deal with the team. Bishop signed with the 49ers on December 16 and got some action in the final two games of the season. 49ers host free agent LB Philip Wheeler, per report

The San Francisco 49ers brought in another linebacker for a visit. Will they sign a veteran soon? The San Francisco 49ers continue their hunt for linebackers in free agent. The team has brought in Philip Wheeler for a visit today, according to Ian Rapoport. The team was reported to also be bringing in Lance Briggs and Desmond Bishop. This followed a visit last week with Erin Henderson. Wheeler spent the last two seasons with the Miami Dolphins.
