Evan Mathis added to the Pro Bowl roster

Evan Mathis was added to the Pro Bowl roster on Wednesday in place of New Orleans Saints guard Jahri Evans, who will miss the game because of injury. Mathis, the Eagles' veteran guard, will play in the Pro Bowl for the second consecutive season.

The Eagles left guard is headed to Arizona. For the second year in a row, Eagles left guard Evan Mathis is headed to the Pro Bowl. Mathis, who was originally named a second team alternate, is set to take the place of injured New Orleans Saints guard Jahri Evans. Mathis is the sixth Eagles player and third offensive lineman to be named to the 2015 Pro Bowl. Mathis will join offensive tackle Jason Peters, running back LeSean McCoy, running back/punt returner Darren Sproles, center Jason Kelce, and outside linebacker Connor Barwin in Arizona.
